About Workshop/ Conference

Fisheries and aquaculture sector is an important source of food production, nutrition security, employment, income and foreign exchange. This promising sector provides livelihood, employment and entrepreneurship to more than 2.8 crore fishers and fish farmers at the primary level and several lakhs along the value chain. The workshops will mainly highlight the new technologies available, introducing government schemes financial help, new income avenues etc .
